Electric power distribution is the final stage in the delivery of electric power; it carries electricity from the transmission system to individual consumers. The distribution consists of taking electricity to points of consumption. The transport network supplies the distribution network directly from major production plants and the distribution network enables electricity to reach consumers. WoMtechnology is working with a major Spanish Power Utility company to upgrade the power distribution network by 4G LTE network as a secured Smart Grid Solution.

Hydroelectricity is electricity produced from hydropower. In 2015, hydropower generated 16.6% of the world's total electricity and 70% of all renewable electricity and was expected to increase by about 3.1% each year for the next 25 years. The work of generators consists of the construction, operation, and maintenance of production plants and the sale of energy to the market. WoMtechnology LTE router effectively transmits video and data from the power generators and environmental sensors to the remote control center through a secured VPN.

A wind farm is a group of wind turbines in the same location used to produce electricity. WoMtechnology industrial LTE routers are applied in a predictive vibration analysis system implemented for remotely controls information from thousands of wind turbines that are mostly located in Spain. The detection of a single fault can lead to savings in the cost of repairing the main components of over EUR 100,000 per machine. Automation and machine learning are key factors, as the system has the capacity to process up to 100,000 records a second.
